  Cardio Vascular Fitness
            For maximum effectiveness and safety, a cardiovascular exercise program should include specific instructions on frequency, duration, and intensity. These are the three important components of cardiovascular exercise that you really need to understand and when our experts design your program each one will be implemented. In addition to certain techniques your cardiovascular program will include a warm-up, a cool-down, and proper stretching of the primary muscles used in each of the exercises outlined in your program.

Forget spending hours jogging up and down the lakefront, a new study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology finds that short bouts of very intense exercise can help you reap the same rewards as weeks of hour-long daily jogs.

The aim of core stability training is to effectively recruit the trunk musculature and then learn to control the position of the lumbar spine during dynamic movements
The Muscles
The deep trunk muscles, Transversus Abdominis (TA), multifidus (MF), Internal Oblique (IO), paraspinal, pelvic floor, are key to the active support of the lumbar spine. The co-contraction of these muscles produce forces via the "theracolumbar fascia" (TLF) and the "intra-abdominal pressure" (IAP) mechanism which stabilise the lumbar spine, and the paraspinal and MF muscles act directly to resist the forces acting on the lumbar spine

Ingestion, digestion, absorption, and metabolism are all processes the body uses to repair and maintain the body as a whole including any one of its many parts. Malnutrition, or the lack of proper nutrition, can be a serious problem for older people.

 Fitness for Older People

Only around one in 10 people over the age of 50 years exercises enough to gain any cardiovascular benefit. Some estimates suggest that about half of the physical decline associated with old age may be due to a lack of physical activity. Arguably, people over the age of 65, more than any other age group, require adequate fitness levels to help them recover from illness and reduce their high risk of disease.

One significant problem of old age is loss of independence. Exercising regularly and attaining a reasonable degree of physical fitness would help an older person meet the demands of their daily routine. Various studies show that it is never too late to get fit.

The human body responds to exercise, no matter what its age, and the health benefits are multiple. If you are over 50 years, obese, suffer from a chronic illness or have been sedentary for some time, it is a good idea to see your doctor before embarking on any new exercise routine.
